AstraZeneca income dives 37pc

Anglo-Swedish pharmaceuticals giant AstraZeneca said net profits tumbled 37 percent last year as the group was hit by the expiry of patents on key drug products.
Earnings after taxation dived to US$6.297 billion in 2012, compared with US$9.983 billion in the previous year, AstraZeneca said in a results statement.- AFP
