New air quality targets proposed
(01-29 13:08)

The Undersecretary for the Environment, Christine Loh Kung-wai, says the government will submit proposed new air quality objectives to the Legislative Council shortly, and hopes they'll be passed this year to allow their implementation in 2014.
Speaking following an event organised by the Business Environment Council, Loh also said she had seen a recent study suggesting roadside monitoring stations were placed too high to give an accurate reading at street level, RTHK reports.
