Elderly man's death ruled an accident
(01-29 13:01)

An inquest has found that the death of a patient whose windpipe was blocked by a piece of gauze was an accident.
The patient, Wang Keng-kao, died in Kowloon Hospital in November 2011, where he was recovering from a cancer operation and a stroke, RTHK reports.
The coroner's court heard that an opening made in his throat to allow him to breathe had mistakenly been covered with gauze by medical staff.
