'Lew didn't tell the truth: Barry Cheung
(01-24 18:41)

Barry Cheung Chun-yuen, who chaired the campaign office for Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying during the election last year, said the accusation by a Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference delegate is not factual.
Lew Mon-hung accused Leung of lying, as the Chief Executive had told reporters that he had engaged two professionals and a lawyer to inspect his house when he bought it and no illegal structures had been found.
In an interview with iSun Affairs Weekly magazine, Lew said Cheung told him the three people did not exist.
But in a statement issued late afternoon, Cheung said the Chief Executive had already given full account related to the illegal structure in his Peak home. Cheung said the two lawyers, instead of one as Lew claimed, handled the transaction of the residence for Leung. The lawyers had been disclosed in Leung's account, Cheung added.
Cheung noted in the statement that the surveyor who inspected Leung's home had died. Leung decided not to disclose his identity in order to protect his family's privacy. Cheung stressed that Leung had already mentioned in his document.
