Govt to study progressive power tariff system

Secretary for the Environment Wong Kam-sing said his department will study the possibility of a progressive system for electricity fee, and extra fee will be applied to high-users. In the commercial sector, he said, the system should not be applied to all enterprises. Wong noted MTR as an example, which might have to lift the fare if the new system is adopted.
