Hang Seng finishes higher

Hong Kong shares closed up 0.29 percent at a 20-month high on Tuesday as the Bank of Japan unveiled an open-ended monetary easing plan.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 68.08 points to 23,658.99 on turnover of HK$72.47 billion, AFP reports.
Chinese shares closed down 0.56 percent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 13.08 points to 2,315.14 on turnover of 123.4 billion yuan.
