Old age allowance details next month

More details on the proposed Old Age Living Allowance will be available next month, the Social Welfare Department said today.
Those who have passed the means test and had applied for "fruit money" will become the first group to receive the allowance, the department said. These persons will be informed by the end of next month.
Other eliglible applicants will also receive application forms by the end of March. Applications can be sent in by mail.
