(Policy Address) CY vows to keep housing policy fair
(01-16 19:46)

Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying said the government will keep housing policies fair to everyone, where they will not favour developers or the upper class.
Speaking at the forum after his first policy speech, Leung said he will try his best to help people from different classes to buy a home.
Housing Authority's Greenview Villa, for example, has drawn nearly 30 times of over subscription. Leung said lottery will not be needed if the government can provide 30 estates of similar kind.
He said he wants to speed up the process in changing use of land, so more supply can be guaranteed.
