Hongkongers have to make the right choices to improve their livelihood, the Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying said today as he delivered his maiden policy blueprint.
In a relatively quite chamber that fell silent after the ejection of three rowdy members, Leung said locals should stop arguing and instead focus on development.
He said the housing shortage must be solved as soon as possible, and this was why the government has moved to curb external housing demand and speculation.
Leung emphasized that Hongkong people should have priority in policies.
