Taipei seeks Next Media deal details

Taiwanese regulator has requested the buyer of Next Media (0282)'s business to submit of details of the purchase, the company said in an announcement.
"The Fair Trade Commission of Taiwan has issued a written response to the representative of the purchasers (print) requesting additional information of the purchasers (print) and the company to further consider such application," Next Media said in a statement filed to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
The information requested covers, among other things, matters relating to the group’s business in Taiwan.
The group intends to provide the requested information where appropriate to facilitate the application process, it said.
