Man killed in Tai Po accident

An 80-year-old died in a traffic accident in Tai Po this afternoon.
A medium goods vehicle, driven by a 64-year-old, hit the victim who was crossing the road when the van was turning right into Kwong Wang Street near Kwong Fuk Estate. The victim sustained multiple injuries was rushed to hospital and was certified dead later.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
