Forum discusses more airports in smaller cities

Domestic airport expansion, which has gathered pace in the mainland in the run-up to the Beijing Games, became a topic of conversation at the Airport Expansion Summit in Beijing.
Industry leaders and aviation regulators discussed ways to expand air transport and accelerate the civil aviation infrastructure across the country, especially in small cities, Xinhua said.
The use of new equipment to enhance airport operations was also discussed.
