A Chinese man has pleaded guilty in a US federal court to pirating software that investigators said was worth more than US$100 million.
Officials said Xiang Li, of Chengdu in Sichuan, distributed hundreds of high-cost programs, used for defense and engineering.
He faces up to 25 years in prison and a US$250,000 fine.
Two US citizens have also pleaded guilty to copyright infringement, RTHK reports.
