Island paradise Sri Lanka tops travel list once again

Tropical Sri Lanka where warm hospitality is a byword, remains the best destination for travelers this year as well, a leading travel guide said.
The Observer, citing the top 10 trips compiled by Lonely Planet, said Sri Lanka, has topped many polls as the place to go this year – it offers beaches, wildlife, scenery, food and culture.
It's great for community-based tourism, homestays and spending money with local businesses, the paper said.
The paper also listed Moscow, Copenhagen, France, Flaners, Spain’s Navarra region, Cuba and souhern Africa trips in its recommendations.
