Tai Po councillors raise concerns over parallel traders
(01-03 13:05)

Parallel goods traders have been active in Tai Po Market and Tai Wo Stations, as well as The Link's shopping malls nearby, District Council members say.
They said the traders have caused a shortage of infant milk formula.
The MTRC has already set up a 39-strong team to curb such trading activities. But district councillors said the effect has been so far minimal as the team has no power of enforcement.
Police in Tai Po district said they are collecting further information and will take appropriate actions, such as operations with the Immigration Department.
