Elderly patient with type 4 flu in isolation

One more 60-year-old female patient in the female long-stay ward of Castle Peak Hospital has presented with respiratory symptoms. Appropriate viral tests were arranged for the patient and the test results are pending.
The patient is in isolation and is in stable condition, a hospital spokesperson said.
Earlier, a cluster of patients was confirmed with Parainfluenza Virus Type 4 in the ward, the spokesperson said.
Admission to the ward has been suspended and visits are restricted.
