Italy factory orders plunge 12.8pc

Italy’s industrial orders plunged by 12.8 percent in September from the level 12 months earlier and by 4 percent from the August figure, the official data agency showed today.
Industrial is struggling with recession, and turnover in the industrial sector dropped 5.4 percent from activity in September 2011 and by 4.2 percent in the month, Istat said, AFP reports.
