Nikkei slips at break

Stocks in Tokyo slipped 0.10 percent, giving up early gains as the US dollar turned down against the yen. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 15.05 points to 15,111.51 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.21 percent, or 2.63 points, to 1,234.23.—_AFP
