Tokyo bounces 1pc at break

Tokyo shares gained 1.33 percent as strong US jobs data boosted investor sentiment.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index added 187.67 points to 14,274.47 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section shares climbed 0.80 percent, or 9.44 points, to 1,185.86.—AFP
