US crude rises to US$57.90

Energy futures finished mixed on Monday. Benchmark crude oil added 47 US cents to settle at US$57.90 a barrel. Brent crude oil, the international standard, fell 34 US cents to close at US$64.86 a barrel.

Wholesale gasoline fell 1 US cent to US$1.85 per gallon. Heating oil declined 1 US cent to US$1.91 per gallon. Natural gas was up by 12 US cents to US$2.30 per 1,000 cubic feet.
