Jobless men admit acting as cops

Two jobless men, 24 and 32, who pleaded guilty to 11 charges including possessing a false instrument and falsely pretending to be a public officer at the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts today have been remanded in custody.

They were accused of impersonating police officers and searching primary school students' bags after school in the Kwai Tsing District last year.

The case was adjourned until March 29 for sentencing and background reports.
