The Labour Department says it is investigating a fatal work accident at the junction of Sha Tau Kok Road - Wo Hang with Wo Keng Shan Road in Sheung Shui this morning after a worker died.

The accident happened at about 9:30am and the man was rushed to the North District Hospital where he was certified dead, local media reports say.

Police are also investigating.
