The Kiangsu-Chekiang College in Sha Tin has confirmed that seven of its students and one teacher have been infected with tuberculosis, RTHK reports.
All of them are in stable condition and classes continue as normal at the school.
The school said a secondary four student was diagnosed with the airborne disease in September. It has arranged students and teachers at risk of being infected to be screened.
It has also reminded parents to take their children to the doctors if they have symptoms including continuous coughing, fever and significant weight loss.-Photo: RTHK
