Li Keqiang assures South China Sea shipping freedom

China will safeguard the freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea, Premier Li Keqiang said in Manila today at the 12th East Asia Summit.

Li said China is the largest country in the South China Sea that uses the sea lanes and has an interest in safeguarding peace, stability, and navigation freedom in the waters than any other country.
