Swede dreams in San Siro

Sweden, who had missed out the last two World Cups, hung on yesterday defending a narrow lead against Italy in their World Cup qualifier at the San Siro and jumped for joy in the end following a goalless draw. It was a heart-warming result for the Swedes who had experienced the coldest night this winter at the weekend when temperatures plummeted to -22 degrees Celsius in Nikkaluokta, near the northern city of Kiruna, according to national weather agency SMHI, local media reports said.
