A passenger plane operated by Air Astana managed to land safely at an airport in southeastern Xiamen city in the afternoon today after it overcame a failure in its undercarriage, which did deploy.
The Boeing 757, belonging to Kazakhstan's Air Astana, successfully landed at about 2:20 p.m. at the Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, according to the airport.
Earlier, the plane, with four crew members aboard, had hovered for around three hours to dump fuel after it reported a failure in its landing gear during a test flight.
