Medusa and pals out for a stroll in Causeway Bay

A mock-up of the mythical Greek goddess Medusa and an 80-foot serpent have been created as the centerpiece at Fashion Walk, the indoor and outdoor shopping locales operated by Hang Lung Properties, for Halloween this month.

Fashion Walk encompasses the streets of Great George, Paterson, Kingston and Cleveland, offering fashion, gastronomy and lifestyle.

The attraction is called "The Dance of Medusa”. Medusa will make random appearances at Fashion Walk.

Medusa will also attempt to trap visitors in a digital burrow by tricking them with 3D optical illusion paintings. Curious visitors not only need to escape from the traps, but also need to avoid Medusa’s malevolent glare through the "Gaze Could Kill” digital game.

Medusa’s troop and the serpent will step out on the streets of Causeway Bay throughout this month in an attempt to lure visitors to a dance parade and Halloween party on Friday, October 27. Anyone interested can dress up and join the "Medusa’s Revival Party” at Food Street. Complimentary drinks and snacks are on offer. Food Street outlets including Coast Seafood & Grill, (third picture, spooky cookies) COEDO Taproom, Elephant Grounds, Marbling, and Wildfire+, are offering shoppers a range of Halloween-themed dishes, including the lychee and blueberry cupcake with raspberry sauce decorated with Medusa’s Evil Eye and "S-boo-ky Pumpkin” Pizza.

Until October 31, customers spending HK$1,000 or above at Fashion Walk (subject to a maximum accumulation of three same-date receipts) can redeem two Fashion Walk Halloween party tickets; any one spending HK$4,000 or more can redeem M.A.C make-up service, or a M.A.C gift and two Halloween party tickets.

Those spending HK$18,000 or above can redeem HK$1,000 merchants’ voucher and two Fashion Walk Halloween Party tickets. What’s more, customers can also enjoy great Halloween Styloween shopping offers at at selected tenants.
