Doksuri keeps its distance from HK

Doksuri will maintain a distance of more than 600 kilometers from Hong Kong tonight and tomorrow morning, and its direct impact to the local weather is not high for the time being, the Hong Kong Observatory said.

The northeast monsoon now affecting the northern part of the South China Sea will persist tonight and tomorrow and occasionally strong winds are expected over offshore waters of Hong Kong. Doksuri will move west-northwest in the general direction of the vicinity of southern Hainan Island and Vietnam.
