Temperature at HKO reaches new high

The Hong Kong Observatory said temperature at its headquarters in Tsim Sha Tsui, (pictured), this afternoon reached 36.6 degree Celsius - a record-breaking high temperature. It broke the last record of 36.3 degrees made on August 8 in 2015.

The forecasters began taking records 132 years ago.
