Kowloon Bay crowd supports five demands

Local | 26 Nov 2019 1:44 pm

Groups of people stepped out in Kowloon Bay at lunchtime today raising their palms outwards signifying their support for the five demands of anti-government protesters. Their protest action halted road traffic in the area.

A large number of riot police descended on the scene quickly and raised a blue flag, warning the crowd that they were participating in an illegal assembly, RTHK reported. The protesters soon moved to the pavement and dispersed after a while.

Meanwhile, across the harbour in Central, office workers continued with their now customary midday protest. A large crowd had gathered in the IFC Mall, chanting slogans and singing songs.
