Journalist carrying ammo remanded

A journalist, 26, accused of possessing ammunition without a license, has been remanded in custody after being denied bail by the Eastern Magistrates' Courts today.

He was arrested for possessing 38 tear gas shells, one sponge bullet shell, and one rubber bullet shell at the San Wan Ho MTR station exit B yesterday. No plea was entered and the case was adjourned until January 14.
