Most Taiwan students at PolyU return home

More than 60 percent of Taiwanese students studying in Hong Kong have returned home, the Taiwan government said.

As of yesterday afternoon, 623 of a total of 1,021 Taiwanese had returned to Taiwan, according to the Ministry of Education, CNA reports. Among the 623 returnees, 261 are students at Chinese University of Hong Kong.

More than 60 percent of Taiwanese students at Hong Kong Polytechnic University have also come home, the ministry said in a press release.
