The Jockey Club announced that the Mark Six draw originally scheduled for tonight will be postponed to Thursday. The decision was made in view of the latest social and traffic situation to ensure the safety of its staff and customers, RTHK reports.
All of its betting branches and hotlines have been closed from 5:00pm.
According to the Jockey Club website, the turnover for the draw so far is more than HK$28 million.
The club said all accepted bets remain valid.
Mark Six is the most popular betting game in Hong Kong, according to a Jockey Club report in 2016 though horse racing was the biggest revenue spinner.
