Jiayuan, Poly Property October sales jump

Mainland developer Jiayuan International (2768), operator of T Plus in Tuen Mun, said contracted sales in October grew by 41 percent from a year ago to 4.02 billion yuan (HK$4.5 billion).

The gross floor area sold increased by  29 percent year-on-year to 299,000 square meters while the average sales price was up by 9 percent to 13,422 yuan per sqm.

Contracted sales for the first 10 months this year grew by 42 percent over a year earlier to 22.2 billion yuan, with corresponding GFA up by 28 percent.

Shares of the company stayed at HK$3.09.

Also, Poly Property (0119) said  contracted sales for the first 10 months this year slid by 3.58 percent from a year ago to 32.3 billion yuan (HK$36.15 billion), making up 76.9 percent of its full-year sales target of 42 billion yuan.

Contracted sales for October surged by 75 percent year-on-year to 3.5 billion.

Yuexiu Property (0123) said its first 10-month sales grew by 20 percent over a year earlier to 52.5 billion yuan, accounting for 77 percent of its full-year target.
However, sales in October slumped by 45 percent year-on-year to 4.4 billion yuan.
