Ex-employee of trucking services company charged with fraud

A former employee of a cross-border trucking services company was charged with fraud by the Independent Commission Against Corruption today after inflating parking fees on delivery notes submitted by a subcontractor.

Chow Chi-yeung, 42, former logistics supervisor of Extrans International (HK) Limited, faces one count of fraud after inflating each delivery note by HK$200, resulting in a total of HK$6,200.

Chow has been released on bail, pending his appearance at the West Kowloon Magistracy next Tuesday.
