A sneak peek inside next week’s Consumer Electronics show

Global Sources’ mega Consumer Electronics show is just a few days away. We talk to some of its exhibitors, who give us some inkling of what they have in store for one of the world’s most anticipated electronics sourcing events.

From 11th to 14th October, Consumer Electronics exhibition will take over Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo. Organized by Global Sources, Asia’s leading online-to-offline sourcing platform, the exhibition has gathered a whopping 7,800 exhibitors across the globe at its show floor, showcasing the latest advancements in the industry. Apart from the usuals, we are also expecting some surprises and trends to emerge.

Wireless everything

Gone are the days when you need to sort through and disentangle a bunch of tiresome cables and extension cords. As wireless technology continues to evolve and expand, wireless audio options have taken over many homes.

Consumer electronics brand Remax is ready to accommodate this cultural shift to wireless-everything with its latest drop –TWS Bluetooth speaker RB-H20 PRO. World of E-Sport

The Internet of Things

Internet-connected products will be all the rage at this year’s exhibition. The brand to watch is Jimi IoT. Beginning life as a small telephone set workshop 20 years ago, Jimi IoT has become a key player in the IoT sector, providing security solutions to the international community.

This year, Jimi IoT will showcase its latest fleet management solutions. Connecting offline tracking devices with online software, Jimi’s pioneering fleet management system helps insurance companies and car-sharing companies maintain cost, ensure drivers’ and passengers’ safety on the road, and improve customer service.
