Mainland global video game company Leyou Technologies (1089) announced it is currently in talks with investors to acquire shares of the company owned by Charles Yuk Kwok-cheung, one of the controlling shareholders, or a substantial part of the business of the company.
Yuk currently owns approximately 52.37 percent of the issued share capital of the company, and the transactions may constitute very substantial disposal if materialized, said the company.
Leyou has appointed Moelis & Company Asia as its financial advisor in relation to the possible transactions.
Shares of Leyou slid 3.14 percent to close at HK$2.47 today.
