Protesters rally to British Consulate

Around 1,000 demonstrators rallied outside the British Consulate in Hong Kong, demanding the country to take action against China for breaching Sino-British Joint Declaration.
Those gathered waved British flags, sang UK's national anthem "God save the Queen" and chanted "UK save Hong Kong."
Others held banner declaring "one country, two systems is dead," while repeating calls for Hong Kong's former colonial ruler to ensure the city's autonomy is upheld under agreements made when it ceded power to China in 1997.
Organizer of the rally, a woman surnamed Law, said she plans to lobby British lawmakers in London to secure their help.
They also want the British government to extend the rights of British National Overseas (BNO) passport, so some 3.4 million Hongkongers holding it would be granted the right to live and work in the UK.
