The pro-government Hong Kong Railway Federation Of Trade Unions held a rally outside the MTR Headquarters in Kowloon Bay to condemn people who "insulted and scolded" railway staff yesterday.

Last night, people surrounded the Tai Koo MTR station control room and demanded staff explain why the police were allowed to enter the station in purusit of protesters and fire pepper balls on August 11.

A representative said their MTR colleagues, especially front line staff, were bullied and it was totally unacceptable and unfair. The public should express their opinions through channels such as email, phone calls and writing, he said.
