Senior Superintendent (Media Liaison and Communication) of Police Public Relations Branch, Kong Wing-cheung, said the police counted the number of people who were in the Victoria Park rally at the “peak moment” – which was 128,000 – and that they are are not in a position to comment on the figures announced by the organizer, Civil Human Rights Front.
