Jimmy Sham Tsz-kit, the convener of protest organizer Civil Human Rights Front, has again demanded the government to retract the "riot" classification and drop charges against protesters.

Speaking on a radio program today, Sham also said the front will be willing to join university student unions tomorrow. The unions have called on people to besiege the Central Government Offices in Admiralty if the administration has not withdrawn the fugitives law amendment bill by 5:00pm today and addressed their other demands.

Democratic Party chairman, Wu Chi-wai, also on the program, said arrested protesters could be charged with common assault.
