US crude rebounds to US$52.28

After falling on Wednesday, oil futures rebounded sharply on the news of the tanker attacks near Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, a key passage for seaborne oil cargoes. U.S. crude settled up by 2.23 percent at US$52.28 while Brent gained US$1.14 to US$61.31.
