MTR briefly halts Admiralty stops

Local | 12 Jun 2019 9:40 am

The MTR Corporation halted train services at Admiralty Station for several minutes in the morning, as tens of thousands of demonstrators took over major streets in Admiralty today, RTHK reports.
The railway operator announced just past 9:00 am that – at the request of police – trains on the Island, Tsuen Wan and South Island lines would not stop at Admiralty Station.
However, just minutes later, the MTR suddenly reversed the decision and said full services would resume at Admiralty Station.
