US stock futures point to gains on Wall Street on Tuesday, following sharp losses Monday.
In Asia today, the major benchmarks posted modest losses. Hong Kong sank by more than 1 percent.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures climbed by 158 points, or 0.6 percent at 25,439, while S&P 500 futures gained by 20.65 points, or 0.7 percent, at 2,827.50. Nasdaq-100 futures added 73 points, or 0.7 percent, at 7,387.75.
The Dow sank by 617.38 points, or 2.4 percent, at 25,324.99 on Monday, while the S&P 500 shed 69.53 points, or 2.4 percent, at 2,811.87. The Nasdaq Composite Index gave up 269.92 points, or 3.4 percent, at 7,647.02.
