US crude climbs further to US$65.89

Oil prices climbed  for the third straight day today. Benchmark U.S. crude added 34 US cents to US$65.89 per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The contract added US$1.48 to US$65.55 per barrel on Monday. Brent crude, used to price international oils, gained by 29 US cents to US$74.33 per barrel in London. It jumped US$2.07 to US$74.04 per barrel in the previous session.-AP
