The Centa-City Leading Index, which reflects secondary private residential property prices from March 4 to March 10, edged up by 0.71 percent week-on-week or 1.81 percent month-on-month to 173.47, recording the biggest increase for 37 weeks.
The index climbed for five straight months, representing a cumulative gain of 2.07 percent, driven by medium and small flats.
The sub-index for Hong Kong Island fell by 0.32 percent weekly, Kowloon was up by 1.09 percent weekly. New Territories East grew by 1.5 percent and New Territories West added 1.58 percent week-on-week.
