Wedding bells in HK for exiled Thai PM Thaksin's youngest daughter

Exiled former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra is in Hong Kong for the wedding of his youngest daughter Paetongtarn Shinawatra next Friday, the Sing Tao Daily, the sister paper of The Standard, reported in an exclusive story today.

Paetongtarn, who is also the largest shareholder of Thailand property developer SC Asset, will marry Pidok Sooksawas, a commercial airline pilot, on March 22 at the Rosewood Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui – a new luxury hotel within the Victoria Dockside arts, design and conceptual retail district.

Another exiled former Thai leader, Yingluck Shinawatra, Thaksin's youngest sister, and other supporters are also expected at the wedding, sources said.
