Forex reserves rise to US$432b

The city's foreign currency reserve assets climbed to US$432 billion at the end of January, from US$424.7 billion at the end of December 2018, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority reported today.

Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, the forex reserve assets at the end of last month was US$424.9 billion compared with US$417.5 billion at the end of the month before.
