Man remanded over death of father

A 26-year-old man, who faces a count of murder for allegedly killing his 65-year-old father on December 4 in a Tuen Mun apartment, appeared at the Eastern Magistrates' Courts today.

On Thursday morning, the body of the suspect's father was found in the sea near Aberdeen with multiple knife wounds to the head and neck, and was inside a nylon bag. He was arrested at the airport on his return from Taiwan the same night, according to police.

No plea has been entered today and the case was adjourned until March 11, 2019 for police to conduct further investigations. The suspect was remanded in custody.
