Duchess of Kent Children's Hospital bungles vaccinationsLocal | 12 Oct 2018 7:30 pm
Nineteen staff at the Duchess of Kent Children's Hospital at Sandy Bay and two volunteers had been wrongly injected with tetanus vaccine, instead of the flu injection, the hospital admitted today.
The hospital suspects that the two vaccines got mixed up during distribution yesterday. No other vaccines or patients have been affected.
The hospital said it contacted all 21 people to explain and apologize.
